Update: The Deland Eatery graciously hosted my son’s graduation dinner, with only a weeks notice. It was the perfect t venue, spectacular food, great service and incredible hospitality. The bolognese, pork and shrimp were all delicious. I can’t thank all of the staff, Casey and Ian for making the last week of festivities so memorable. Original Post: I was in town for my son’s wedding and had 2 opportunities to eat at this restaurant. Both experiences were amazing. I had a smash burger and fries for lunch. So delicious. We sat outside, enjoyed great cocktails and excellent service. On Sunday we had 30 people for a family style brunch.... Omg... everything was sooooo delicious including the bloody Mary’s. Brunch was spectacular! I highly recommend everything about this place.
This place is a hidden gem! Charm, elegance and cleanliness are an understatement. The food was excellent and absolutely delicious. The Owner was nice, friendly, informative and really welcoming. We will be coming back for dinner and definitely need to try the brunch everyone rants and raves about. I highly recommend visiting this place! We live 45 minutes northeast and are so glad we found this amazing little restaurant. You’ll be amazed how inexpensive and yet quality the dishes are !!

We took the grandbaby teenagers here for dinner. All I can say is if you haven't been, it's a must. This place was so clean, cozy, friendly staff and great food. If you have a love for pickles, then you will love that to bc they continue to refill your bowl. Our waiter Andrew was the best & made great suggestions that were spot on. They even have outside dining on the patio. We will definitely be going back.
Came to this place recommended by a friend and I must say, I wish I knew this place sooner. It feels very welcoming. Just a few tables available but customer service to its finest. Food was delicious, spicy Bloody Mary was spot on and the Aperol spritz was deliciously refreshing. We are definitely coming back.
We recently held our monthly meeting of the Florida Surveyors and Mappers Society at DeLand Eatery, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The staff greeted us with genuine hospitality and ensured our group was well taken care of throughout the evening. The food was a true highlight. The Shrimp & Grits were perfectly seasoned and creamy, offering a comforting Southern classic with a gourmet twist. The Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and beautifully plated. And the Fried Chicken Breast was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and paired wonderfully with the house-made sides. Every dish reflected the kitchen’s attention to detail and commitment to quality. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, striking a perfect balance between casual comfort and professional polish. This place is amazing. We went on a Sunday night and my husband had fillet over mashed potatoes with a compound herb butter, he was so impressed as he is very picky. I had the crabcakes (my family is from Maryland), so I was so impressed. I don’t know what the other reviewer was even talking about, he obviously has never had a good crabcake. We were very pleased! We went there the next day to have the five dollar smash burgers. All I can say is wow not just plain smash burgers they have several to choose from. This is our favorite place in Deland to eat and drink!
This was the first time being here and the first time bringing my dog to a restaurant. They were so accommodating and friendly, I felt like I had walked into my best friends home. I ordered the Fried Chicken Caesar and my Aunt orders Shrimp and Grits.We also ordered the Cobbler and The Oreo Brownie/ice cream for dessert. No complaints and we ate it so quick I forgot to take pictures so I grabbed pictures of the food from the restaurant. They even gave water in dog bowl for my Sophie. I asked for the waiters name and forgot cause I didn’t write it down, but his pic is included. The other pics are from our visit. Just love this place and I will return. My Aunt and I are trying to eat at a new place in Deland each week.
